Over the past several months, we’ve introduced volunteers who have stepped into leadership roles. One important announcement we missed was recognizing our Treasurer, Anna Sunn, who officially took on this role at our Annual General Meeting in April 2025.
Anna has been an ORTA member for nearly 10 years and a dedicated hike leader for almost five. She’s passionate about hiking and especially loves the Uxbridge trails close to home. Her enthusiasm shines through—whether leading hikes, helping at the June 2025 Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay checkpoint with her family, or adding special touches to our December holiday potluck.
Anna is also a Bruce Trail member working toward her end-to-end and proudly completed her Oak Ridges Moraine Trail end-to-end in 2023.
Taking on the role of Treasurer is no small task, and we are sincerely grateful for the time and effort Anna devotes to ORTA. Managing grant projects adds an extra layer of complexity, and we deeply appreciate her diligence and attention to detail.
