Join us for an inspiring evening of connection and curiosity at Discovery Night—a social gathering featuring thought-provoking speakers and presentations from both local voices and global perspectives.

Presentation:  Learn about Bhutan

In the fall of 2024, Peggy Millson and her husband, Murray Legge, fulfilled a long-time dream
and visited Bhutan. They were attracted to Bhutan by the idea that its official plans and policies
are determined by their impact on Gross National Happiness, rather than purely economic
considerations. They discovered that there is so much more to see and learn about Bhutan, and
this presentation will highlight some of their favourite places and experiences.

Cost: $10 at the door helps to defray the cost of the hall and refreshments
What to Bring: Lug your own mug and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome. Open to members and the general public.
