Discovery Night November 2025 – Nature Conservancy of Canada and ORM Trail Strategy

Discovery Night
Join us for an inspiring evening of connection and curiosity at Discovery Night—a social gathering featuring thought-provoking speakers and presentations from both local voices and global perspectives.

Join us for a presentation by Mark Stabb, Central Ontario Program Director for Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), for a presentation on NCC’s land securement and stewardship projects on and around the Oak Ridges Moraine. This will be an update on habitat conservation from Happy Valley Forest to the Rice Lake Plains of Northumberland County, including a celebration of the results of 20 years of tallgrass ecosystem restoration. Mark participates on the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail Strategy working group and the evening will also feature a brief update on the status of the Trail Strategy from Mike Goodyear. ORMT Strategy Project Manager.
