Guided hike in Uxbridge
Members and non-members welcome
ORTA Map 5 – Uxbridge; slow-moderate pace for 2 hrs in Secord Forest and Goodwood Tract. There will also be a slow hike offered at the same location.
We are looking forward to another great fall hike as the weather gods seem to be doing their best to give us warm and sunny days with red and gold in the trees. This will be a fairly easy walk with ponds, meadows and forest trails and only a few moderate hills in Secord Forest and the Goodwood Tract near Uxbridge. Invite a neighbour to come along and meet our friendly group. After the hike we will go to an Uxbridge restaurant, Wixen’s Bridge, for a warm lunch and more trail talk.
Meet at the Secord Forest parking lot 2 km south of the Goodwood Rd. on Concession 3, east on Secord Rd. to the end.
