The fourth edition of ORTA's Guidebook, published in April 2006, contains a new key map, a new map of the Yonge Street Corridor, and expansion of some other maps. The Guidebook contains 11 topographic maps printed on waterproof Tyvek. All maps and text have been updated and revised for this new edition.The maps are in full colour, at a scale of 1:50,000, and are based on the federal mapping series. Each map shows the trail route, access points, parking, and other services in the area. The reverse of each map contains information on the points of interest in each area crossed by the trail. It also contains information about the history of ORTA, the formation of the Oak Ridges Moraine including both the natural and cultural history.
